About The Author

Hi, I'm Nicole! Thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy day to make yourself at home here. I'd like to introduce myself- I'm a 26 year old children's book author, dental professional, and proud toddler mom with a huge passion for creating smiles and changing lives. I'm a Colorado native, looking to inspire worldwide.

By day, I've spent a few years in the dental field helping families feel confident about their oral health. By night (and during my son's nap times), I pour my creativity into writing whimsical stories that spark imagination and gently teach both kids and guardians the importance of brushing, flossing, and caring for their smiles.

My debut book, The Flossy Tale of Fernwood Bear, combines my passion for literature with my dental background, bringing forest friends to life in a way that makes learning about oral health fun and memorable. It's more than just a story- it's part of my mission to empower families with knowledge and positivity.

Beyond the pages, giving back is at the core of everything I do. A portion of every purchase supports children's dental health through charitable contributions, because I believe every child deserves access to the tools and care that build a confident smile. 

Whether I'm creating activity packs for classrooms, developing new toys and games, or scouting illustrators for my next project, my goal is always the same: to blend creativity, education and heart into everything I do.

At the end of the day, I'm a young mom chasing big dreams, raising a little one who inspires me daily, and working to make the world a brighter, healthier place- one story, one smile, and one community connection at a time.
